Buck Creek Playhouse will hold open auditions for SCROOGE! THE MUSICAL by Leslie Bricusse on Monday and Tuesday, September 28 and 29, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Director William Cooper is looking for a diverse group of 7 men, 7 women, 3 boys, and 4 girls for this holiday extravaganza based on the 1970 film starring Albert Finney. Please come with 16-20 measures of a prepared song (verse and a chorus) in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to read from the script. All roles are available. SCROOGE! THE MUSICAL is scheduled for nine performances, weekends December 4-20, 2015. Please bring a list of all conflicts from October through December 2015.

Miserly Ebenezer Scrooge's "Bah! Humbug!" opinion of Christmas grates on everyone around him. But when Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former partner and three Christmas spirits, he learns to change his ways -- just in time for Christmas Day!
