Royal on Monday and Tuesday, January 25 and 26, 2016, at 7 p.m. at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Director Bradley S. Kieper is looking for a diverse group of 4 men and 4 women between the ages of 18-25 able to play 15-18 for this “unauthorized parody.” This production contains mature subject matter and we are looking for performers who are comfortable with such. You will be asked to read from the script. All roles are available. DOG SEES GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD is scheduled for six performances, weekends March 18-26, 2016. PLEASE NOTE: There will be an 8 p.m. performance on Thursday, March 24, 2016, with the production closing on Saturday evening, March 26, 2016. Please bring a list of all conflicts from January through March 2016.
Please contact us to peruse a copy of the script.
When CB's dog dies from rabies, he begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group's bullying, offers CB a peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits.
