OPEN AUDITIONS

Picture

Monday and Tuesday, August 7 & 8, 2023

Directed by SAM BROWN

Buck Creek Playhouse will hold open auditions for DAD'S CHRISTMAS MIRACLE by Pat Cook, on Monday and Tuesday, August 7 & 8, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue.

Director Sam Brown is looking for a diverse and comedic group of 5 female presenting actors (2 youth, 3 adults) and 6 male presenting actors (3 youth, 3 adults).  All roles are available.

Connor Murphy wants a go-cart for Christmas in the worst way. And judging from his report card just before vacation, that's just how he sets out to get it. Hysterical situations abound in this loving memory of Yuletide charm, where it’s up to Dad to perform the impossible by Christmas morning.

AUDITION PREPARATION

Side Bring resume and headshot, if available.
DAD'S CHRISTMAS MIRACLE is scheduled for nine performances over three weekends, December 1, 2023 – December 17, 2023.

Rehearsals are tentatively set to begin October 2, 2023. Rehearsals are anticipated to be three times per week.

The audition will include reading selected scenes from the play. Audition sides are available by contacting the director.
