BCP is currently following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local, state, and public health authorities, to safeguard your health and well-being, as well as our volunteers. As recommended by the CDC, the following preventive measures should be taken to help reduce the spread of COVID-19:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Please do not attend public events if you are unwell or in a high risk group. If you have been to CDC level III countries, and have not undergone the 14-day quarantine, please stay home until your quarantine time has passed.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces with a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at lease 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
